Use the search below to find the Helical Solutions Simulation Files in .DXF or .STEP format which can be downloaded and imported into your CAD/CAM software of choice. Each file is specifically scaled to the geometry of the tool to help simulate running parameters and create tool paths. What are Simulation Files?
Many cutting tools have complex profiles that are difficult to describe in a traditional catalogue format. In these cases, it may be helpful to understand the tool's specific profile to confirm tool selection prior to purchasing. Using two universal file formats (.DXF or .STEP), the simulation file can be downloaded and imported directly into the CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software package. In this way, the tool cutting parameters can be simulated and issues involving interference, dimensional accuracy and cycle times can be determined ahead of time allowing a more informed cutter choice.
